An Empty Room is an experimental theatre piece written by Cole Hayley and devised by Luke Rowe. It is a curation and re-ordering of plays written originally as Movies for the Year Two-Thousand and Twenty, which was a collection of plays all written in a single day during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the spirt of how the script was written, the directors and actors of An Empty Room had only the day of the performance to rehearse and get the show on its feet, coming in at 7 AM and putting off the performance at 8 PM that night.
